I tried to do this a few days ago and it didn't work.

I think it might be a problem with the nameservers but I wouldn't have a clue.

lets see. Are you adding it as an add on domain or as a parked domain?

Aye aye! :x
Having the same problem just now...

I succesfully added the domain as an addon domain.
I think there is something wrong in the way SR's nameserver is treating uni.cc domains.

Mos likely attributed to what DJB did sometime ago.

Yeah UNI.cc addons are working fine. That's not the problem.
The problem is we can't add subdomains for added (or parked) domains.uni.cc....

Nope, I think you misunderstood something. Try to read the complete report.

ns2.stonerocket.co.uk.
ns1.stonerocket.co.uk.

FAIL: You have one or more missing (stealth) nameservers. The following nameserver(s) are listed (at your nameservers) as nameservers for your domain, but are not listed at the parent nameservers (therefore, they may or may not get used, depending on whether your DNS servers return them in the authority section for other requests, per RFC2181 5.4.1). You need to make sure that these stealth nameservers are working; if they are not responding, you may have serious problems! The DNSreport will not query these servers, so you need to be very careful that they are working properly.

ns3.shoutserv.com.
ns4.shoutserv.com.
This is listed as an ERROR because there are some cases where nasty problems can occur (if the TTLs vary from the NS records at the root servers and the NS records point to your own domain, for example).

So basically, it says that UNI.cc servers resolves to ns2.stonerocket.co.uk. and ns1.stonerocket.co.uk., BUT SR's nameservers otherwise point to ns3.shoutserv.com. and ns4.shoutserv.com instead of pointing back to UNI.cc's server.

Now the question is, how came SR's nameserver is pointing to Shoutserv?

My guess would be thats where we get our server from.

Think of it Blaster...

Basically ns2.stonerocket.co.uk. and ns1.stonerocket.co.uk. should at least have NS records containing 'emselves [ns2.stonerocket.co.uk. & ns1.stonerocket.co.uk.], and it SHOULD NOT otherwise include NS records pointing to ns3.shoutserv.com and ns4.shoutserv.com for every domain entries.

Can it not be fixed?

Thats DJB's area. He deals with the server. You will have to talk to him about that.

Just an update.

I removed the instance of the addon domain [in my case] and then added it again. I checked it with dnsstuff and it's fine, with no shoutserv records included.

Earlier I assumed that shoutserv appears at all entries in our nameserver, but I was wrong. So could this be dwi's fault to have shoutserv in balidirectory entry? [but how can that happen? Cpanel bug?]

@Blaster: You sure StoneROcket is related to shoutserv?
